Video: Ryan Spann can't contain laughter in UFC Fight Night 220 faceoff with Nikita Krylov

LAS VEGAS – Nikita Krylov and Ryan Spann came face-to-face for the first time Friday ahead of the UFC Fight Night 220 main event.

After making weight at official weigh-ins, Krylov (28-9 MMA, 10-7 UFC) and Spann (21-7 MMA, 7-2 UFC) engaged in their lone pre-fight faceoff ahead of Saturday’s light heavyweight headliner, which takes place at the UFC Apex and streams on ESPN+.

As expected, both men were civil when they got in front of each other. It bordered on friendly, in fact, because while Spann did his signature pose of looking down at his opponent, he started laughing uncontrollably. Krylov was amused, as well, cracking a smile before they moved off stage.

Max Griffin offended by booking against Michael Morales: 'They're sending a guy that they think can beat me'

Bellator 290 post-event facts: Ryan Bader keeps perfect rematch record

The first Bellator event of 2023, Bellator 290 , went down Saturday at Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., and it marked a monumental occasion for both the promotion and the sport.
